STRUCTURAL
Hull is fabricated from 5MM plate steel and is rolled in 3D (Both vertically and horizontally on the same plate). There are no hard chines and the hull is smooth and fair. Internal framing is transverse only with no longitudinal frames to trap water against the hull. Decks are of 4MM steel and superstructure is 3MM. The hull and deck shells are supported steel angle welded and riveted to the hull. Bulkheads are welded to the hull.
Decks : Deck are 3MM steel and painted with non-skid.
Deck to hull joint : Welded Joint. The rub rail is steel.
Topsides : Topsides are 3MM steel and painted with non-skid.
Bottom : 5MM steel above the waterline and 6MM steel below. Petit Vivid anti-fouling paint over an epoxy barrier coating.
Keel / Skeg(s) : Full keel base plate is unknown thickness. Appears to be much thicker than everything else..
Keel/hull joint : Keel is integral to the boat.
Bulkheads/frames : Engine room bulkhead is watertight to the waterline forward (to the Salon) and also serves as a firewall. The forward bulkhead between the forward cabin and forepeak is watertight.
Engine beds : ½” Steel plate.
Shroud load points : Chain plate attachment welded the aft cabin top.
Upper and lower shroud chain plates are stainless steel welded to carbon steel.
Mast compression : The deck stepped mast with a compression post.
COCKPIT EQUIPMENT
A steel companionway hatch with wooden washboards.
Two lazarette hatches for cockpit stowage and a steering station with binnacle and instrument pods.
An aluminum and wood dodger frame with matching full enclosure. A stainless steel arch over the aft lounging area.
Cockpit has a 30A shore power inlet
DECK / TRUNK EQUIPMENT
Stainless steel bow and stern rails are connected through stainless steel stanchions with double lifelines fitted with port/starboard gates.
There are bow, midship and stern mooring cleats.
There is a dual anchor roller forward.
On the trunk there is an escape hatch, four ventilation hatches, eight deadlights and four ports.
Propane locker hatch is in the forepeak.
Fuel fittings are on port and starboard mid ships with an offset to the deck
STERN EQUIPMENT
The stern has an aft station that has a secure storage area with overboard drainage. The area has three lazarettes for storage and this is where the re-boarding ladder is.
