Isla Parida - Northern Anchorage

We came here as a rest stop and also because we had heard there was a small resort on shore. We even heard rumors of beer and pizza! Instead all we found was a small fishing camp.  The resort we found out later was just to the south around the corner but since we didn't do our homework we missed it.

If we were to do this again we would probably anchor near the resort so we could drop in for a beer.  Oh well.  It was still a good spot to stop and rest before we continued our journey.  :-)

Anchoring

Anchor Depth – 16 - 24ft

We anchored in the middle southern part of the bay.  Good holding.

Water temp and Clarity

Water temp was 85 deg when we arrived at the end of May.  Clarity was about 5-10ft in the anchorage.

Dinghy Landing

Easy landing at the small fishing camp.

There is a building around the corner and but there was no sign of people and we have no idea whether they like visitors or not.

Garbage

No

Groceries

No

Things to Do

The Isla Parida Resort is just around the corner.
