Bahia Santa Maria

Bahia Santa Maria

We anchored  at 24 46.74 N   112 15.118 W

If you want to feel isolated this is the place for you.  There isn't much here other than a few fisherman and a protected bay to get some rest in.
The Bay is huge and the holding is good.

You get an awesome dose of wild Mother Nature and a bit of adventure to go with it.

Services

If you go ashore, there is a rough trail that runs on the shelf in front of the  mountain.  Walt was able to hike from our little cove back to the fishing camp.

There is no store, no fuel and no place to leave garbage.
There is no wifi but we were able to get some spotty cell service at anchor.  Walt hiked up the hill and got good service from the top of the mountain....

It was still a great stop.  People are always in transit and don't spend much time here but it would be worth more time if you could spare it...
