We had been living with an old inoperative fridge and ugly countertop since we got the boat years ago. The upgrade finally made it to the top of the list. We knew we would be without water for over a week and be living in a full construction zone so we dove in full tilt.
Next we traced the outline of the sink and used a jigsaw to make a cutout for it. Since we were still in the substructure any mistakes we made could be fixed and hidden under the actual countertop. Once the holes were cut we dropped in the sink to make sure everything lined up the way we wanted.
Once the compressor was mounted properly and everything was tested it was time to assemble and enjoy.
